New Sport

So my friend JR sent me to this site... Pillow Fight League ... recommending I join. Apparently I seem the type to beat other women with a pillow. I'm wondering if anyone else thinks I'd be good at this. I think I might be better at Mud Wrestling, but who knows.

I found the rules especially entertaining.

The Official PFL Rules

  1. Women Fighters Only. No Exceptions.
  1. Fights have a five minute time limit and are won via pinfall, surrender, or referee stoppage. If a fight ends at the time limit with no winner, a winner is declared by a three-judge committee
  1. Punching, leg drops, clotheslines, submission holds, and other moves are allowed as long as a pillow is used to execute the attack.
  1. Preventing an opponents' pillow strike by holding her pillow results in a warning from the referee. Judges may choose to include these warnings as part of their judging criteria if a fight goes the distance.
  1. No eye-gouging, biting, scratching, hair pulling, or low blows.
  1. No rude, lewd, or suggestive behavior.
  1. Loading a pillow with a foreign object such as a brick is strictly forbidden

Number six I find interesting... no rude, lewd or 'suggestive' behaviour... I'm wondering how much more suggestive it could be. The girls are in skimpy clothes pillow fighting. I don't know about you but sounds like something straight out of a teenaged boys fantasy.

Urban Dictionary

So the other day I was IMing with a friend and I accidentally called her Craxy, I meant of course to call her Crazy. Her idea was to google 'Craxy' and see what it meant, and this is what she found in the Urban Dictionary. There are actually 6 definitions but these were the two favourites.

Craxy:
1) One who is so beyond sexy that they are crazy sexy. (DC's fav)
2) A mixture of crazy and crack. A kind of crazy to indicate that one might be on crack. (my fav)

I enjoyed that so much that I went hunting for other funny definitions. You can check them out at Urban Dictionary http://www.urbandictionary.com

Here are a List of my favourites.

  1. Aardsma
  2. Dadcake
  3. Gibungus (a word I frequently use)
  4. Hasselhoffing
  5. Kitch
  6. Pachinki
  7. Shmagoo
  8. Tabish
  9. Wordanista (thank you Steven Colbert)

New Years Eve in New York City

Happy New Year!!Location: New York, New York

The Last day of 2006 and where best to celebrate a fabulous year, but the fantabulous city of New York. The group of us, 7 in total, headed to Cipriani's Ballroom for a New Years Eve Gala, yes I said Gala. Seriously we were all decked out in our finest fatigues, ready for food, booze, and fun New York Style (similar to the cheese cake with less cheese, more sauce).

The evening started with line ups, endless line ups, IDs checked, tickets taken, coats hung, buffet eating... it was not what we expected, but it wasn't going to put a damper on the evening. The attempt to get booze was an ordeal itself. Trying to get drinks at a crowded bar anywhere is hard, trying to get a drink at an open bar requires 2 things 1) Being pushy, and little helps (as I am) 2) having the ladies on display, which I also did :-). So first round I got 4 drinks and everyone else ordered the same and we settled in at our own made bar in the corner. We were lock, stocked and soon to be loaded. The night progressed well, we danced, we laughed, the DJ missed midnight. True ... so at about 12:03 we counted down to 12:04 and brought in the 4th minute of the New Year.

The night would not have been complete without a few bloopers.
For example TG's tits out, Me falling flat on my face while attempting to do the running man, and TG and LS's stumble on the sidewalk in the rain. As you know upon arrival we didn't expect we would be the last to leave, but honestly I wasn't surprised. Before we knew it it was 4:30 am, the lights were on and it was time to go. We gathered our things and headed home.

I hope you all had a wonderful New Years Eve and have a fabulous 2007. To quote my hungover self "2007 is the Year of Year!" Make the most of it.

Bless
