Ride a Cowboy
So bright and early this morning GW and I got on a plane and headed West to his homeland of Calgary, Alberta. The flight was more then enjoyable. I don' t know if it was because I'm such a delight in the morning, if it was the excitement to see CM, or the lovely smelling bathrooms of WestJet Airline, but the trip to Calgary was great despite leaving TO before 6 am. I don't want this to become an ad for WestJet, but it was the first time I'd flown with them and the service was great, the plane was clean, the bathrooms really did smell good and the seats were as comfortable as they could be with *Bonus* individual tvs. As I don't have cable at home I always love the opportunity to see what everyone else is talking about. So the day started well which only meant good things ahead.
We arrived to a bright and sunny day in Cowtown where GW and I sat on a patio and had some lunch while we waited for our friends to finish their workdays. CM picked me up in the early afternoon to take me back to his place where he made me an awesome dinner and we spent hours catching up on the last 4 years. Although everything in our lives has changed, our friends ship still hasn't.
In the evening we visited with some of his friends and then met up with GW and his friends for a few drinks in downtown Calgary. I believe it was on 17th street which is their main drag.
A great first night in Cowtown.

Thanks very much for your nice comments about your WestJet experience! I'm a WestJetter (an employee and an owner). We love to hear from our guests, and love to hear that you had a great experience with us. I hope you have a good stay in Calgary - and wherever else your trip takes you - and that the weather cooperates for you.
Yours truly,
Dave
